The Community Manager works within the Board of Directors guidance to keep the community of 285 manufactured homes operating cohesively. he position requires basic accounting and coding skills, as well as knowledge of budgeting and capital reserve expenditures. In addition, the manager serves as liaison to the shareholders of the community. Must work well with the over 55 community and be able to communicate violations of the rules and regulations and bylaws in an effective yet friendly way. The manager maintains all office procedures and must have excellent computer and organization skills. The community manager maintains all permits and assures that compliance with state HCD regulations are met. Must have a working knowledge of the California civil codes.Must be a self starter who needs little supervision to complete tasks. Must have order procurement skills and be able to manage a maintenance staff. Monthly attendance of shareholder meetings is required (1 evening per month). Works with Real Estate and escrow companies to assure that sales of properties and closed properly and all community paperwork is delivered before the close of escrow. Most of all must have an open friendly demeanor and a good sense of humor.
