What role will you play?
Property maintenance is an essential part of operating an apartment community successfully. Based at one of our apartment communities, the Service Technician is a critical member of the community's maintenance department and is responsible for preparing apartments for occupancy, completing routine maintenance repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance activities.Those who are thorough troubleshooters and active listeners tend to excel in the position.Service Technicians interact with residents and vendors throughout each workday and must have excellent customer service and communication skills.If you have strong maintenance and repair skills, are a effective communicator, have a good eye for detail, and thrive in team environments then this is the perfect job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance repairs in apartment units and on building systems.
- Completion of maintenance repairs on apartment turnover and apartment renovation.
- Periodically inspect all units, buildings, and common areas performing necessary janitorial work and identifying appearance and safety concerns.
- Maintain inventories and order supplies as needed.
- Participate in the property's "On-Call" after-hours service
Minimum Experience and Education Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience at a multi-family community of 100 units or more
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current CA Driver's License
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English sufficiently to facilitate communications between other employees, vendors, and residents.

Compensation
- This is a full time, non-exempt position with an hourly wage, depending upon experience.
