Leasing Manager

FPI Management Inc. is looking for a highly experienced Leasing Manager for a 400+ unit community in Lakewood! The perfect candidate will possess the ability to effectively show the property and all that it has to offer! This individual is capable of multi-tasking and thriving in a busy environment while displaying world class customer service. Candidates must have exceptional leasing skills and enjoy the camaraderie of a team.
The Key Responsibilities
Exude an outgoing and dynamic personality while touring future residents, accommodating resident requests, and coordinating resident functions
Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and work to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages
Review calls to ensure traffic conversion is met - knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques
Accountable for market surveys - knowledgeable of area competition and current market conditions
Motivate the Leasing Consultants to enhance their knowledge regarding products, floor plans, competition, and amenities while identifying opportunities to create value
Coordinate and participate in leasing and marketing activities
Oversee outreach marketing campaign
Develop and maintain social media campaigns
Follow a system for effective follow-up with prospective residents
Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork
Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information
Audit all lease and application files for accuracy and submit to the Community Director
Ensure work areas and office clean and orderly - aware of property curb appeal
The Basics
-Understanding of current Fair Housing laws
-Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Flexibility to adjust to the needs of the property
-Ability to identify strengths & weaknesses of leasing staff sales approaches
-Prioritization and delegation of daily tasks
-Professional appearance and demeanor
-Willingness to work non-traditional hours including early evenings, weekends and holidays
Additional qualifications would include the ability to multi-task, prioritization and a working knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with leasing industry software such as YARDI, LRO, and On-Site is a big plus.

Qualifications
2+ years property management experience required
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Successful passing of drug test and criminal background screening
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Word, Excel, and Yardi Voyager preferred.
