Canyon Country Villas is looking for a fun, energetic Leasing Consultant to join their team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.
- Act as sales representative for the community.
- Greets all residents and future residents in a professional and consistent positive manner.
- Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
- Prepares and completes lease forms or agreements and collects rental deposit.
- Maintain a consistent level of sales closings as determined by Supervisor.
- Responsible for insuring the 'model' apartments and target apartments are ready for show; responsible for maintaining work areas and office in clean and orderly manner; need to have an awareness of the 'curb appeal' of the property.
- Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
- Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of the property.
- Full knowledge of application information, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
- Complete guest cards, send thank-you notes, and follow up on every qualified prospect.
- Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Property Manager.
- Responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files.
- Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
- Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Responsible for promoting positive resident relations.
- Responsible for creating a sense of urgency when making appointments for future residents or prospects to visit the community and completing telephone and on site guest cards.
- Responsible for completing follow-up with all prospects.
- Input in Yardi
- And other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years practical experience in sales or customer relations.
Must speak and write English to effectively communicate with on-site staff, residents and prospective residents.
Fair housing training preferred or will train.
Organizational and filing skills required.
General computer skills required.
Must pass background and drug test screening
