We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to handle all the day-to-day operations of our 99-unit apartment community, plus 5 commercial spaces, located in downtown Petaluma, CA. The Business Manager is a hands-on position and will be responsible for the overall success of the property that includes but is not limited to leasing activities and marketing functions, administrative and maintenance operations, operating budgets, recruiting and training team members. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years property management experience. Knowledge of budgets and financial statements. Sales and marketing experience. Experience in direct supervision of staff of two or more. Working knowledge of eviction law, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management. Must be customer focus driven, able to multi-task, manage time effectively, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Computerized accounting experience, word processing, and YARDI experience desired.
