Lead Maintenance Technician

EXPERIENCED, RESPONSIBLE LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED FOR GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN AURORA Our national multi-family management company seeks a hard-working, lead maintenance professional with a Whatever it Takes attitude to join our Aurora team to oversee maintenance on a 120 unit property. Our ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of multi-family maintenance experience or at least 3 years of general maintenance experience. Supervisory experience required. Looking for a proven team leader that can change day to day priorities as the demands change. Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and general scheduling required. Renovation experience a plus. Must have certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities. CAMT, Fair Housing, CPO certifications preferred. Must have basic tools. On-call flexibility is required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and be able to read, write and speak English. Job responsibilities include: Overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, unit make ready, preventative maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for the apartment community; Overseeing the maintenance staff; Handling grounds keeping and pool duties as needed; Will be required to schedule and respond to on-call, after hours emergencies.
