Community Manager

Job title: Community Manager for a beautiful community comprised of more than 300 units and a staff of 4. Experience- Bachelor's degree: Business Degree Preferred - Supervisory experience: The Community Manager is responsible for training and staff performance. - Strong communication skills: Both written and verbal communication skills are vital. In addition to communicating with their staff, vendors and support team at the corporate office, the Community Manager is expected to effectively communicate the performance of their property, including any relevant changes in the market to the Property Supervisor. - Organized with strong planning and follow-up skills: This position has many responsibilities and success is possible through adequate planning and follow-up. - Computer skills: Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel - A strong financial and administrative background: Must have a concrete budgetary understanding of the property at all times, make decisions based upon performance, and increase the net operating income of the property. The ability to address delinquent rents: Rent collection issues must be addressed with delinquent residents, which could result in lease termination and legal action. - Ability to go outside of the office! Must show apartments, inspect the grounds and vacant units to ensure they are market ready. The Community Manager is a business minded professional, responsible for overseeing the physical and financial operations of this apartment community while adhering to governmental and ethical guidelines.
