Assistant Property Administrator
Camarillo, CA
VPM Management Inc., has an immediate need for an Assistant Manager with a minimum of 3 years property management and Affordable Housing experience to assist with the management of a 168 apartment community located in downtown Camarillo. Selected individual will lease apartments, screen residential applicants, i.e., verifying employment, income, etc., and ensure compliance with Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Bond programs.
NO Rent Collecting responsibilities and a Monday - Friday workweek plus NOT required to live on-site!!!!
Position pays up to $20.00 per hour and provides full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) plus more!!!
Qualifications
Must have at least three (3) years of property management experience, preferably in an entry level management capacity and a working knowledge of Affordable Housing guidelines. . Outstanding resident relations, leasing, communications, leadership and follow-through skills also required.
Education
High School diploma or GED.
Fair Housing training
Affordable Housing training to include Tax Credit, Bond, etc.
Management and Supervisory training a plus
