Property Manager

SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of Tax Credit property, including supervision of all office and maintenance functions. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Affordable Housing, and all other laws pertaining to apartments. Duties include: -Manage all operations of the apartment community -Supervise, train and motivate staff -Monitor and direct leasing activity, all on-site marketing, and maintain an on-going, in-depth knowledge of market -Monitor and direct all property maintenance operations -Responsible for compliance with all Fair Housing regulations, and compliance with local ordinance and laws -Responsible for all site administration functions and timely and accurate production of all reporting documentation -Provide professional customer service at all times QUALIFICATIONS: -Minimum of 2-5 years Property Management supervisory experience required. -Minimum of 1 year Tax Credit experience required. -Knowledge of budgets and financial statements and ability to work within budgeted guidelines. -Strong written/oral communication skills. -Working knowledge of Landlord/Tenet laws and Fair Housing mandates. -Good working computer knowledge, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. Onesite or Yardi preferred. -Ability to meet physical requirements of the job and function effectively in sales/marketing and customer service environment. -High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
