Leasing Consultant

The Habitat Company is currently seeking professional, enthusiastic, sales-driven Leasing Consultants in our Market Rate downtown Chicago communities. If you are outgoing, motivated, customer service oriented and want to make a difference, then this is the opportunity for you. In this exciting role, you will perform all responsibilities related to selling and renewing residential apartment leases. This includes generating qualified prospects and preparing lease packages, while providing excellent customer service to potential and current residents. The ideal Leasing Consultant offers exceptional hospitality to residents and maintains high levels of community satisfaction and retention by demonstrating the following: • Experience in outreach or advertising • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Expertise in using social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pintrest, etc.) • Strong skills in YARDI, processing guest cards and applications, setting up accounts and move-ins are highly preferred • Fair Housing certification, NALP or other professional coursework focusing on leasing and fair housing preferred • Availability to work weekends and some holidays • Currently hold an Illinois Leasing License OR ability to obtain a license within 120 days of hire
