Service Technician II

Waterton is currently seeking a Service Technician II. In this role you will troubleshoot and resolve resident work order requests, restore vacated units to acceptable standards, maintain attractive, clean grounds and common areas and complete preventative maintenance items as scheduled. This position participates in the on-call rotation. Job Description: Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service; troubleshoot and diagnose problems; take appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards of the company; escalate problems or issues to Service Manager if unable to resolve. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free from debris by cleaning and/or removing trash, graffiti and other items which affect the appearance and/or operation of the community. Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy by performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, carpet cleaning, painting, equipment maintenance and repairs and overall apartment cleaning as necessary or as directed. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two (2) years of previous maintenance and service experience. EPA-CFC certification is required. Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred. Must have license or equivalent in terms of years of experience in plumbing, electrical and/or carpentry. High School Diploma preferred. Certified Pool Operator certification and/or valid driver's license may be required. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and solid communication skills. Evenings, weekends and/or holidays may be required.
