Community Manager

** Please follow the link provided to apply via our online portal ** G&K has an immediate need for a Community Manager for our Clark Terrace Apartment community. The Community Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the affordable apartment community including the supervision of all administrative and physical aspects. This position is an off-site position, it does not come with an apartment unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain high occupancy level through effective motivation - Keeping informed of market conditions and understanding competitive pricing - Support the marketing functions by recording accurate data on prospects and new residents - Utilize company resources to facilitate leasing - Establish and achieve financial goals by effectively qualifying prospective residents - Prepare lease documents and related paperwork; Update records as necessary - Coordinate maintenance of property with appropriate support to keep project quality at IAC standards - Develop a motivated community team through effective personnel management - Thorough inspections and follow-through, strive to maintain and improve value in the community - Assist the Regional Manager, as needed in long-range planning, and communications - Introduce the resident to our apartment procedures - Be responsible for after-hours and emergency on-call coverage - Perform additional duties as assigned - Practice good customer relations REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years Residential Living experience required - Experience with 125 or more units - Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills - General office and bookkeeping skills - Sales and customer service skills - Computer literacy - Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management. - Superior customer service skills G&K Management Co., Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
