Property Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeep
Folsom, CA
We are a large multi-family property management company located in Folsom, Ca. This is a non-exempt, regular full-time position with a Monday through Friday work schedule. Job duties include:
Full charge bookkeeper includes but is not limited to the following - general ledger account analysis including journal entries; preparation of financial statements in accrual and cash basis; analysis of all general ledger accounts to determine and verify correct postings; determine required journal entries for accrual purposes; year end closings; reconcile balance sheet accounts, etc. Accounts Payable processing; research and reconcile invoices and statements; input high volume of AP invoices; verify accuracy of coding; produce weekly aging report. Maintain cash management for variety of accounts. Communicate with all layers of property related staff included but not limited to owners, site managers, etc.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- 2yrs minimum accounting experience
- Solid accounting and analytical skills according to GAAP
- Solid understanding of financial statements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and be accountable for punctuality
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment
- Efficient problem solving skills including the ability to see the big picture concepts
- Self starter • ability to reassign priorities daily
- Prior property management experience a plus
Software experience preferred:
- Yardi/Voyager a plus
- Excel
- MS Word
- MS Outlook
- Adobe
