Established Property Management Company is looking for an experienced Community Director for a 400+ unit property in Vista. This individual is the business leader and fiscal decision-maker of a multi-million dollar apartment community - overseeing the entire operation including staff performance, resident satisfaction and financial success. A successful Community Director will generate income by leading the sales team, monitoring market conditions, controlling budget, attracting residents and retaining them through superior customer service. Key Responsibilities: Manage all operations of the apartment community Supervise, train and motivate staff Monitor and direct leasing activity, all on-site marketing, and maintain an on-going, in-depth knowledge of market Monitor and direct all property maintenance operations Responsible for compliance with all Fair Housing regulations, and compliance with local ordinance and laws Responsible for all site administration functions and timely and accurate production of all reporting documentation Knowledge of budgets and financial statements and ability to work within budgeted guidelines Provide professional customer service at all times Understanding of current landlord/tenant requirements Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Professional appearance and demeanor Must have proven success demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, multitasking, and organizational skills. Additional qualifications would include a working knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Office, etc.) and experience with leasing industry software such as Yardi. Experience with interior and exterior renovations is strongly preferred. Qualifications
Qualifications
4+ years Property Manager experience required
Must have 2+ years experience on 300+ units
Supervisory experience of two or more staff members
Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance
Successful passing of drug test and criminal background screening

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
